Retail centers and large two-story homes across southeast Aurora both shine during the holidays. Businesses often want a polished commercial display, while homes with long, multi-gable rooflines can take a full day to install. Holiday Lights Denver designs and installs displays for both, from the first photo through takedown. Whether you’re in Tallyn’s Reach or near Murphy Creek, call us at (303) 931-7300 to get started.
We light commercial properties and homes all over Aurora, and we can handle a range of properties on either side.
At home we build a full-property display on site: roofline, trees, wreaths, and grounds. It can be simple and clean or large and layered, whatever your household’s Christmas spirit calls for, and we do it on the single-story ranch homes of the older northwest side as readily as the newer two-story subdivisions. Choose warm white, single color, multi-color, or RGB, on a timer set to your schedule. Wrapped trees, large custom trees, and rented wreaths, reindeer, and yard décor all go up with the same display — see Custom Tree Lighting and Wreath & Holiday Décor Rentals. Bistro-style patio lighting is available for backyards.
For businesses, HOAs, and managed communities, we build the display custom on site and set it to the colors and the on and off schedule you want. We handle restaurants and quick-service locations, including owners with several sites, along with HOA and community entrances and property-managed communities. We also light large commercial buildings and public spaces, like the retail across southeast Aurora. City and municipal buildings, recreation and aquatic facilities, and event centers and venues round out the kind of work we take on.
We coordinate directly with property managers and multi-location owners, and we plan scheduling and site access with you up front. Commercial displays commonly run through the end of January, and some clients keep them up for about three months.
A few things set the work apart, and they matter most on the large, technical jobs.
Historic downtown districts, overhead street lighting, trees pushing fifty feet. We design and install at a scale most holiday lighting companies won’t touch. Our owner is on site for every large, technical install. If your property in Aurora needs a lift, a crew, and a plan, that’s our kind of project. For a property manager, that means one plan and one team that answers for the whole display.
Nothing we hang comes out of a box. Every display is built on site. Lights rolled out, cut to your exact roofline, clipped and bulbed in place, cords and timers set to the schedule you want. Warm white, single color, multi-color, or RGB, it’s your design, made for your property in Aurora. That is why the lines sit clean and the design is yours and not a kit stretched to fit.
We supply every light we install: commercial-grade LED in C9, C7, and mini-light tree wraps. One uniform system, mapped and inventoried, so your display looks the same on the last night of the season as it did on the first.
The people on your roof are our uniformed, CLIPA-trained technicians, in logoed reflective vests, working safely and efficiently, and not an unmarked crew someone found last week. On an HOA or a managed property, that is who residents and customers see on the grounds.
A bulb out or a timer off? On displays we installed, we’re typically back within 24 to 48 hours, and we move faster when a large display goes dark. A dark storefront or a dark entrance in December gets our attention quickly.
Every display we build combines a few of these pieces, all commercial-grade LED that we supply, cut and fitted to your property. Here is what we install and how each one goes up.
We roll the lights off the spool at your house, cut them to the exact line of your roof, and clip and bulb them in place. On the larger southeast homes, that means long eave runs across three-car garage fronts, each one cut to measure with its own cord to the outlet.
We wrap trunks and branches with mini lights for a dense, warm glow, sized to the tree. A small front-yard tree or a tall one in the yard both get the same close, even wrap.
We stake lighting along beds, walkways, and lawn edges to carry the display down to the ground. It runs on the same timer as the rest of the lights.
We hang the wreaths, set the reindeer, and place the yard pieces with the rest of the display so everything comes on together at dusk.
You choose the look at the design stage: warm white, a single color, multi-color, or full RGB. We run one color system across the whole display so the roofline, the trees, and the grounds all read as one piece.
We bring lifts for elevated work on multi-story buildings and tall trees, so height is not the thing that decides what we can light.
Send us photos and the details of the property, and tell us what you want lit: roofline, trees, wreaths, décor, grounds. Pass along your colors and your timing too. We price most jobs from those photos and only come out in person for the large or technical ones. You get back a written proposal that lays out the design, the scope, and the price.
Once you approve the proposal, we set your install date and order and prep the materials for your specific job so everything is ready when the crew arrives.
The crew builds the display at your property: lights rolled, cut, clipped, and bulbed, trees wrapped, grounds staked, wreaths hung, and timers set to your schedule. We bring lifts for the high work and use magnetic mounts on suitable metal-framed commercial buildings. Homes on the open east side of the city sit exposed to strong wind. How we anchor a run there is not how we do it on a more sheltered street. Whenever we can, we time the install so the display comes on while we are still there to see it from the street. We prefer you’re home for install and takedown. It isn’t required, but it keeps cameras, pets, and access from becoming surprises.
Before we leave, we walk the finished display with you, and final payment is settled at completion.
If a bulb goes out, a timer drifts, or a section goes dark on a display we installed, we come back and fix it with replacement commercial-grade LED. Maintenance covers every display we install.
When you are ready, early January, the end of January, or later, the display comes down and goes straight into storage. We schedule takedowns into a weekly window so weather never forces an unsafe removal. Need a specific day, before a party, or while you’re in town? Just tell us and we’ll plan around it.
Your lights go into logoed, inventoried bins, and we keep a map of the property with them: the roofline, the arches, where the cord enters the house. Next season starts with a call and an early install slot, and the display goes back up the way it came down.
We price by the foot, and the price rises with height and with how technical the design is. Every installation starts at a $1,000 minimum. That minimum covers a full-season service. Custom design, install, in-season maintenance, takedown, and nine months of climate-controlled storage, not just a crew on a ladder.
Our lights stay ours. You’re not buying strands. You’re leasing a complete display for the season, and we take it down and store it when the season ends. Larger displays may require a deposit before we order materials and lock your install date.
Owners with several sites can package them for multi-location pricing, and installs booked in September or October qualify for early-season pricing.
We stand behind every display we install, through the season with maintenance, at the end with takedown, and for the next nine months with climate-controlled storage. If something isn’t right, we come back and make it right. It applies to any display we install.
Every install ends with a walk-through and your sign-off. We don’t call it done until you do.
The season shows up early in Aurora, on the shopping centers, at HOA entrances, and across neighborhood after neighborhood of homes. We are here for the whole run of it, not just the day the lights go up. That means the first install in the fall through the last takedown after the new year. These are the places people gather here:
We take holiday lighting projects across Aurora, including Tallyn’s Reach, the Southlands area, and Murphy Creek.
Send us photos of your property and the details of what you want lit. We’ll put together a free estimate and a written proposal for your display. One call gets your Aurora property on the install schedule for the season. Reach us at (303) 931-7300.
