Custom Holiday Lights on Your Denver Roofline and Trees

residential-img1-v3

A complete holiday display can light up your Denver home’s roofline, trees, wreaths, and yard. With cold, snowy winters and icy conditions, roof and ladder work can be risky. Holiday Lights Denver designs each display on site with commercial-grade LED lights and handles the installation, including the hard-to-reach areas. Want to brighten your home this season? Call us at (303) 931-7300.

The Lighting Types We Build Into Denver Displays

Everything below is commercial-grade LED that we supply and build on site, cut and set to your home.
C9 and C7 Roofline and Eave Lighting

C9 and C7 Roofline and Eave Lighting

We run C9 or C7 bulbs along the roofline and eaves, rolled off the spool and cut to length right on your driveway. Clips and bulbs go on by hand, and the cords are cut to reach your outlet cleanly.

Mini-Light Tree Wraps

We wrap trunks and branches in mini lights for a dense, warm glow. It works for one front-yard tree or several, and simple, elegant tree work counts just as much as a big one.
Ground-Staked Yard and Edging Lighting

Ground-Staked Yard and Edging Lighting

We stake lighting along beds, walkways, and the edges of the yard. It goes in during the same install, so the whole display comes together in one visit.
Wreath, Reindeer, and Yard Décor Placements

Wreath, Reindeer, and Yard Décor Placements

We hang lit wreaths over doors and entries and place reindeer and yard décor across the lawn. Each piece is installed with the lights, then taken down and stored with them.

Color Options: Warm White, Single Color, Multi-Color, and RGB

You pick the look: warm white, a single color, multi-color, or RGB. Use one across the whole home or mix it by area, and we set it with you at the proposal.

Maintenance, Takedown, and Storage Included With Your Display

Your install is the start of the service, not the end of it. In-season maintenance, end-of-season takedown, and nine months of climate-controlled storage are included with every installation at no extra charge — the steps below show how each one works.

Why Homeowners Choose Us for Residential Christmas Light Installation

Here is what sets our residential work apart once the lights go up.

Built on Site for Your Home

Nothing we hang comes out of a box. We roll the lights out, cut them to your exact roofline, and clip and bulb them in place, then wrap the trees and stake the grounds. The cords and timers run on the schedule you want, and the design, from warm white to RGB, is yours.

Every Light Is Ours, Commercial-Grade LED

Every light on your home is ours: commercial-grade LED in C9, C7, and mini lights for the tree wraps. It is one matched system, mapped and inventoried, so your display looks the same on the last night of the season as it did on the first.

Uniformed, Trained Technicians on Your Roof

The people on your roof are our own technicians, uniformed and CLIPA-trained, in logoed reflective vests. They work the heights safely and on schedule, not an unmarked crew someone found last week.

We See It Lit Before We Leave

Whenever the timing works, we schedule the install so the display switches on while we are still there. We want to see it lit from the street, the way you will on that first night.

Our Residential Christmas Light Installation Process, Photos to Storage

Here is how your display goes from a few photos to installed, through the season, and into storage.

Photos and the Details of Your Home

It starts with a free estimate, and most of the time we never need to visit first. You send photos of the house, trees, and yard, tell us what you want lit, and name your colors and timing. Those details drive the design.

Your Written Proposal

We send back a written proposal that lays out the design, the scope, and the price, so you can see exactly what you are getting before anything is ordered.

Locking Your Install Date

Once you approve it, we set your install date and order and prep your materials. Some larger projects call for a deposit at this stage, and we tell you upfront if yours is one of them.

Building the Display and Your Sign-Off

On install day, our technicians build the display on site: roofline run, trees wrapped, grounds staked, wreaths hung. We set the timers to your schedule, on at dusk and off at the hour you choose. Then we walk the display with you and settle the final payment once you are satisfied.

Through the Season

If something goes out on a display we installed, we’re typically back within 24 to 48 hours — and faster when a large display goes dark. Maintenance covers every display we install, bulbs, timers, and sections alike.

Takedown

From there your display lives in logoed, inventoried bins in a climate-controlled space. A map of your home stays beside it: the roofline, the arches, where the cord enters the house. Lights left in an unheated garage turn brittle and crack when the temperature drops below zero, and that never happens to yours. Next season starts with one phone call, and the display goes back up the way it came down. Returning customers get an early install slot the following season.

Storage and Next Season

Your lights go into climate-controlled storage, and returning customers get an early install slot the following season.

How We Price Residential Christmas Light Installation

We price residential displays by the foot, and the number climbs with height and complexity. A tall roofline or a large tree takes more than a single-story eave. You get the final figure in your written proposal, never a guess over the phone.

  • Starting at $10 per foot, $1,000 minimum. This is the base for a custom residential display, and the rate rises as the work gets taller and more technical.
  • Most installations run $1,000 to $5,000. That range covers a full-property display. Larger tree and décor work runs higher and gets its own quote.
  • The minimum is a full-season scope, not a price tag. Every installation starts at a $1,000 minimum. That minimum covers a full-season service: custom design, install, in-season maintenance, takedown, and nine months of climate-controlled storage, not just a crew on a ladder.
  • Early-season booking. Installs scheduled in the September-into-October window come with a discount worth asking about when you get your estimate.

Our Promise on Every Residential Christmas Light Installation

Two commitments stand behind every display we put up.

We Stand Behind Every Display

We stand behind every display we install: through the season with maintenance, at the end with takedown, and for the next nine months with climate-controlled storage. If something isn’t right, we come back and make it right.

Your Sign-Off at Completion

Every install ends with a walk-through and your sign-off — we don’t call it done until you do.

Frequently Asked
Questions

How long does a residential Christmas light installation take?

Most homes take one to two days. A larger display with several trees and a lot of décor sits at the longer end. We give you a realistic window when we send your proposal.
You don’t have to be, but we would rather you were for the install and the takedown. Being there keeps cameras, pets, and gate access from turning into surprises on the day.
No, the lights stay ours. You are leasing a complete display for the season rather than buying strands. We take it down and store it when the season ends, so there is nothing for you to coil up or store yourself.
Installs run from September through November. Booking early in that stretch is the surest way to hold the install date you want for your Denver home.
Not at all. Scale is something we can do, not something you have to buy. A single wrapped tree and a lit roofline is a real display, and it gets the same on-site build and full-season service as the big ones.
