Brick storefronts in Olde Town Arvada call for lighting along the façade and window lines, while two-story homes in Candelas and Leyden Rock often have long, continuous eaves facing open space. Each setting needs a different installation approach. Holiday Lights Denver designs and installs Christmas displays for both businesses and homes. Call us at (303) 931-7300 to plan lighting for your Olde Town storefront or your home in Candelas or Leyden Rock.
Every display we put up is built custom on site, whether it goes on a home or a downtown storefront. The same technicians and the same standards carry across both. What changes from one job to the next is the scale, and how we work the schedule around you.
Residential work is custom, not catalog. Central Arvada’s single-story ranch homes have low, simple rooflines, and they get the same on-site build as the big two-story fronts out west in Candelas and Leyden Rock. Roofline, trees, wreaths, grounds — as simple or as full as your Christmas spirit calls for. Choose warm white, single color, multi-color, or RGB, on a timer set to your schedule. Wrapped trees, custom holiday trees, and rented wreaths, reindeer, and yard décor all go up with the same display — see Custom Tree Lighting and Wreath & Holiday Décor Rentals. Patio string lighting is available for backyards too.
Commercial work is where we do our biggest thinking. We can light properties such as the brick storefront blocks and street trees of Olde Town, and restaurants and quick-service locations. We also handle HOA and community entrances, property-managed communities, large commercial buildings and public spaces, recreation and aquatic facilities, and event centers and venues. Every commercial display is built on site in the colors you choose. We set it to your own timer schedule, then map it so we can maintain it through the season and rebuild it the next year. On suitable metal-framed structures, we use magnetic mounts for a fast, clean install and takedown. Displays go up from September through November and can run through Christmas, through the end of January, or longer. For an owner with several locations, we can put every site under one plan, and we coordinate scheduling and access directly with your property manager.
A few things hold on every display we build.
We take on the big, technical jobs a lot of holiday lighting companies pass on. Historic downtown districts, overhead street lighting, trees pushing fifty feet. Our owner is on site for every large, technical install. When a property in Arvada needs a lift, a full crew, and a real plan, that is exactly the kind of work we want.
Nothing we put up comes out of a box. Every display is cut and fitted to your exact roofline on site. From there we set it to the schedule and the colors you choose, warm white, a single color, multi-color, or full RGB. The result is a display made for your property, not a generic kit stretched to fit it.
We supply every light we install, and all of it is commercial-grade LED, C9 and C7 bulbs along the roofline and mini lights on the trees. One matched, inventoried system means your display looks the same on the last night of the season as it did on the first.
The people on your roof are our own uniformed, CLIPA-trained technicians in logoed reflective vests. On a storefront block or at an HOA entrance, that matters: it is a trained crew, not an unmarked group someone found the week before.
If something goes out on a display we installed, we’re typically back within 24 to 48 hours — and faster when a large display goes dark. A season only looks good if it still looks good on the last night, so we stay on it.
We install three kinds of lighting across Arvada, all of it commercial-grade LED, and most displays mix them to fit the property.
C9 and C7 bulbs run along the roofline and the eaves. We size each run and fit it on site, then put it on the timer schedule you choose. The long eave runs on the west-edge two-story homes are a natural fit for this.
We wrap trunks and branches in mini lights for a dense, warm glow. That runs from a single front-yard tree up to the street trees in Olde Town.
Ground stakes hold lighting along walks, beds, and yard lines, which ties the roofline and the trees into one display rather than three separate pieces.
Lit wreaths hang over front doors in Candelas and over storefront entrances in Olde Town, and reindeer and yard décor go in along the grounds. Every piece is rented for the season, installed with your lights, and taken down and stored with them.
You pick the look: warm white, a single color, multi-color, or RGB. We set it with you at the proposal, and the timer runs on the schedule you choose.
One team carries the job from your first photo to the bins in storage.
Send photos of the property and tell us what you want lit, the roofline, trees, wreaths, or grounds, plus your colors and timing. Most quotes come straight from photos; only large or technical projects need an on-site visit. The estimate is free.
We send back a written proposal that lays out the design, the scope, and the price, so you know exactly what you are approving.
Once you approve it, we lock your install date and order and prep the materials, with a deposit on the larger projects. We also like you home for the install and the takedown. It is not required, but it keeps cameras, pets, and gate access from turning into surprises.
Our uniformed technicians build and install the display on site, running lifts on the elevated commercial work, and set your timers before they leave. On the wind-exposed west and north elevations out on the open slope on the west edge, we set the clips tighter and secure every connection. Whenever we can, we time the install so the display comes on while we are still there to see it from the street.
We walk the finished display with you, confirm everything is right, and get your sign-off. Final payment is settled then.
If anything needs attention while the display is up, we come back out and take care of it, on the lights we installed.
When you are ready for the season to end, we take the display down. We schedule takedowns into a weekly window, so snow and ice never force an unsafe removal. If you need a specific day, tell us and we will plan around it.
Your lights go into logoed, inventoried bins in climate-controlled storage, mapped to your property so the whole display goes back up exactly as it came down. Returning customers get an early install slot the next season.
Every installation starts at a $1,000 minimum. That minimum covers a full-season service. Custom design, install, in-season maintenance, takedown, and nine months of climate-controlled storage, not just a crew on a ladder. Our lights stay ours. You’re not buying strands. You’re leasing a complete display for the season, and we take it down and store it when the season ends. Pricing runs per foot and rises with height and technical work, and the estimate is free.
Larger displays may require a deposit before we order materials and lock your install date. Owners with several locations can package their sites for multi-location pricing, and installs booked early, in September or October, come with early-season pricing.
No fine print, just how we stand behind the work.
We stand behind every display we install, through the season with maintenance, at the end with takedown, and for the next nine months with climate-controlled storage. If something isn’t right, we come back and make it right. This covers displays we installed with the lights we supplied.
Every install ends with a walk-through and your sign-off. We don’t call it done until you do.
