Flat-roof townhomes and mid-rise condos in Cherry Creek use parapets, balcony rails, and façades as natural places for holiday lighting. In Cherry Creek North, storefront façades and street trees create more opportunities for a festive display. Holiday Lights Denver designs and installs lighting for homes north of 3rd Avenue and businesses throughout the district. Call us at (303) 931-7300 and tell us what you’d like to light.
We light homes and businesses across Cherry Creek, from a single townhome to a full storefront block, a restaurant, or a community entrance.
Your home display is custom-designed to be as simple or as full as you like: roofline lights, tree wraps, ground lighting, wreaths, and seasonal décor, all on the timer schedule you choose. For townhomes and mid-rise condos north of 3rd Avenue, we work from railings and building façades instead of roof edges. Choose warm white, single color, multi-color, or RGB. Large custom holiday trees and rented wreaths, reindeer, and lawn décor go up with the same display — see Custom Tree Lighting and Wreath & Holiday Décor Rentals. String or bistro lighting is available for patios and porches.
For businesses, every display is built for the property from commercial-grade LED. We set it to the colors and timer schedule you want. We map it so the display can be maintained through the season and rebuilt the next year. We work on properties such as storefront blocks and districts with overhead street lighting and lit street trees. We also light HOA and community entrances, property-managed communities, large commercial buildings, public spaces, recreation and aquatic facilities, and event centers and venues. In Cherry Creek North, that usually means storefront façades and the street trees along the retail blocks. We sort out scheduling and access with the property manager or owner up front. We time the install so the display lights while our technicians are still on site. Tree lighting, wreaths and décor, patio lighting for a bar or restaurant, and last-minute installs are all open to commercial properties too.
Here is what sets our displays apart.
We take on the displays most holiday lighting companies pass on. Historic downtown districts, overhead street lighting, trees pushing fifty feet. Our owner is on site for every large, technical install. When a property needs a lift, a full crew, and a real plan, that is exactly our kind of job.
Nothing we hang comes out of a box. Every display is designed around one property. The lights fit your roofline and your trees and the look you picked, not whatever a prebuilt kit happened to include.
We supply every light on the job, all of it commercial-grade LED. It is one uniform system, mapped and inventoried. The display looks the same on the last night of the season as it did on the first.
The people on your roof are our own uniformed, CLIPA-trained technicians in logoed reflective vests. You are not handing your property to an unmarked crew someone found last week.
Whenever the timing allows, we schedule the install so the display comes on while we are still there. We want to see it lit from the street, the way you will, and catch anything that needs a tweak before we pack up.
Every light we use is commercial-grade LED. Below are the bulb styles and display pieces we install, and the colors you can choose from.
We roll C9 and C7 bulbs off the spool, cut them to your exact roofline, and clip and bulb them in place on site. On these flat-roof buildings there is no shingled eave to clip to, so the line fixes to the parapet edge.
Mini lights wrap the trunk and branches for a dense, warm glow. The same wrap scales from a single front-yard tree to the street trees along a retail block.
For the grounds, we stake lighting along the yard and its edges.
We place and hang lit wreaths, reindeer, and other yard décor as part of the display.
Pick your color: warm white, single color, multi-color, or RGB.The choice is yours, run across the whole display or mixed by area.
When a job needs height, we bring lifts, and every display runs on custom-cut cords and timers.
It starts with a few photos. Send us pictures of the property, plus a note on the roofline, trees, wreaths, décor, or grounds you want covered, and your colors and timing. On-site visits happen only for the larger or more technical jobs.
We put together a written proposal that lays out the design, the scope, and the price. You see exactly what you are getting before anything is ordered.
Once the proposal is approved, we set your install date and order and prep the materials for the job.
Our technicians build and install the display on site and set the timers to your schedule. We time the work so the lights switch on before the crew leaves. On suitable commercial buildings we mount magnetically for a clean, fast install. Because so many buildings here are flat-roofed, the display mounts to the parapet, the rails, and the building face rather than a sloped eave. We would rather you be home when we install and when we take things down. It is not required, but it keeps cameras, pets, and gate access from turning into surprises. Everything gets a walk-through and your sign-off, and final payment is settled when the job is done.
Through the season we keep an eye on the display and handle anything that needs attention.
When you decide the season is over, we come back and take the whole display down.
Then everything is boxed and stored in climate-controlled space until next year. Returning customers get an early install slot when the next season rolls around.
We price by the foot, and the rate climbs with the height and the technical difficulty of the job. Estimates are free and usually come together from a few photos and details.
Every installation starts at a $1,000 minimum. That minimum covers a full-season service, custom design, install, in-season maintenance, takedown, and nine months of climate-controlled storage, not just a crew on a ladder. Larger displays may require a deposit before we order materials and lock your install date. Owners with several locations can package their sites together for a better rate. Booking early, in September or October, can save you before the peak.
We stand behind every display we install, through the season with maintenance, at the end with takedown, and for the next nine months with climate-controlled storage. If something isn’t right, we come back and make it right.
Every install ends with a walk-through and your sign-off. We don’t call it done until you do.
Cherry Creek dresses up for the holidays like few neighborhoods do. A walkable retail district and quiet residential blocks both come alive once the lights go on. We like adding to that glow, and we treat every property here, home or storefront, like it sits on our own street. These are a few of the places that fill with people on a December evening:
We take holiday lighting projects across Cherry Creek, including Cherry Creek North’s storefront blocks, the Fillmore Plaza and Clayton Lane corridor, and the flat-roof residential blocks north of 3rd Avenue.
