Older homes in Harris Park sit on spacious lots shaded by mature trees, so holiday displays can extend beyond the roofline to the trees and grounds. This calls for a different approach from the more uniform layouts in newer Westminster subdivisions. Holiday Lights Denver designs each display to fit the property, including its trees and open space. Whether you’re near the Legacy Ridge golf course or on a quieter street, call us at (303) 931-7300 and we’ll plan around your home.
We build custom displays for Westminster homes and for commercial properties, with the same technicians and the same commercial-grade LED on both. The difference is how each job is scheduled and accessed.
Homes are where the design gets personal. We build full-property displays across the roofline, the trees, the wreaths, and the grounds — a simple but elegant tree out front or the full show, whatever your Christmas spirit calls for, whether it’s a big-lot home in Harris Park or a two-story in Legacy Ridge. Choose warm white, single color, multi-color, or RGB, on a timer set to your schedule. Custom trees and rented wreaths, reindeer, and yard pieces go up with the same display — see Custom Tree Lighting and Wreath & Holiday Décor Rentals. Patio string lighting is available for backyards.
Commercial work is where we do our biggest builds, and one team designs, installs, maintains, takes down, and stores each display. We can handle properties such as downtown and historic districts, with overhead street lighting and street trees. We also light restaurants and quick-service locations, HOA and community entrances, and property-managed communities. Larger commercial buildings, public spaces, recreation and aquatic facilities, and event centers and venues are all in range. Owners with several sites can package them together. Our technicians coordinate scheduling and access straight through property managers. We bring lifts for elevated installs, and use magnetic mounts where a building’s frame is metal for a fast, clean attach. Displays can run through Christmas or stretch to roughly three months, and across Westminster’s new mixed-use district that often means lit façades and plazas.
A few things set our displays apart, and they show up in the details more than the adjectives.
Historic downtown districts, overhead street lighting, trees pushing fifty feet. We design and install at a scale most holiday lighting companies turn down. Our owner is on site for every large, technical install. If your Westminster property needs a lift, a crew, and a plan, that is our kind of work, and smaller displays get the same hands.
Nothing we hang comes out of a box. Each display is sized to your exact roofline and set to the colors and timer schedule you choose, so it fits your home instead of a template. Pick warm white, a single color, multi-color, or full RGB; the design is yours.
We supply every light we install, commercial-grade LED in C9, C7, and mini-light tree wraps. It is one uniform system, mapped and inventoried, so the display looks the same on the last night of the season as it did on the first.
The people on your roof are our own uniformed technicians, CLIPA-trained and in logoed reflective vests. They work safely and on schedule, not an unmarked crew someone found last week.
Whenever the schedule allows, we time the install so the display comes on before we leave. We want to see it lit from the street, the way you will.
Every light we hang is commercial-grade LED, and the same design carries across a whole property, roofline to grounds.
We run C9 and C7 bulbs along the roofline and eaves. On the two-story homes around the Legacy Ridge golf course, that clean top line is usually where the display starts.
Mini lights wrap the trunk and branches for a dense, warm glow. It works on everything from a front-yard tree to the street trees in a district setting.
Ground-staked runs light the lawn and the edges, finishing the display down at ground level.
Lit wreaths, reindeer, and yard pieces go up as part of the display and come down with it in the same visit.
Every display is set to a palette you choose, anywhere from warm white to full-color RGB, and we keep that look consistent from the roofline to the grounds.
Most projects start with a few photos and the details: the property, your colors, and your timing. Tell us what you want lit, from the roofline out to the trees and yard. On-site visits are the exception, usually for large or technical jobs.
From there we send a written proposal that lays out the design, the scope, and the price, so you know exactly what you are approving.
Once you approve it, we set your install date, then order and prep the materials so everything is staged and ready to go up.
Our technicians build the display on site, on custom-cut cords and timers set to your schedule, on at dusk and off when you want the house dark. Where the height calls for it, we bring lifts. Installs often run into the late afternoon, so the lights come up before we pack out, and final payment is settled when the work is done. We would rather you were home for install and takedown; it is not required, but it keeps cameras, pets, and gate access from becoming surprises. The west-edge properties by Standley Lake sit on open, wind-exposed ground, so each run is built for the spot it holds.
If something goes out on a display we installed, we’re typically back within 24 to 48 hours — and faster when a large display goes dark. We move faster when a large display has gone dark.
When the season is over, we schedule takedown into a weekly window so snow and ice never force an unsafe removal. Need a specific day, before a party or while you are in town? Tell us and we will plan around it.
Everything then goes into logoed, inventoried bins, kept in a climate-controlled space with a map of your property: the roofline, the arches, where the cord enters the house. Next season starts with a call and an early install slot.
We price by the foot, and the rate climbs with elevation and how technical the install is. Here is where it starts.
Every installation starts at a $1,000 minimum. That minimum covers a full-season service, custom design, install, in-season maintenance, takedown, and nine months of climate-controlled storage, not just a crew on a ladder.
Our lights stay ours. You’re not buying strands. You’re leasing a complete display for the season, and we take it down and store it when the season ends.
Larger displays may require a deposit before we order materials and lock your install date.
Owners with several sites can bundle them for a package rate, and booking early in the season earns an early-season discount.
No fine print, just two commitments on every install.
We stand behind every display we install, through the season with maintenance, at the end with takedown, and for the next nine months with climate-controlled storage. If something isn’t right, we come back and make it right.
Every install ends with a walk-through and your sign-off. We don’t call it done until you do.
Westminster goes all in on the season. Downtown dresses up with winter lighting, and the shopping centers fill with holiday trees, so a lit display feels right at home here. We are glad to add to it, one property at a time. A few of the places that set the tone each winter:
From the big-lot homes in Harris Park to the two-story streets around the golf course, we build for what each property needs.
